The tour starts from the Opera House then runs to the square of the former low castle together with the buildings of XIXc. already built on it: Transfiguration church and one of the biggest European theatres named after Maria Zankovetska. While moving to Taras Shevchenko monument we go through the central Svoboda avenue where you can still see the ramparts of the former fortification walls (XIVc.) and Austrian buildings (XIX-XXcc.). Here beginning with the Latin quarter you start your acquaintance with the medieval town.
Jesuit collage and Latin cathedral, Bernardin monastery and Jewish quarter are still breathing with history and old times. The pearl of renaissance in Ruthenian quarter is preserved with the Assumption church. The old Pharmacy museum caves, cosy cafes, exotic restaurant "Kryivka" are complementing the charm of the medieval Rynok Square (XIV-XIXcc.). The Armenian quarter together with its mentions, yards and the pearl of Lviv architecture (mid XIVc.) - Armenian cathedral is still breathing with the eastern subtlety.
Our trip continues through the Ruthenian part of the town where you can see the German church of the Snowy Marry (XIIIc.), Latin Monastery for Benedictine nuns (XVIc.)… And now we are near the oldest church of L'viv - John the Baptist church (XIIIc.).
